Married in the presence of Thomas Knight & Stephen (X) Cheater.1 As of 17 October 1786, Richard Seller was also known as Richard Siller. Richard died in June 1811 at age 57. Richard was buried on 16 June 1811 in Sturminster Marshall, DOR, ENG.2 He A bill for Richard Seller's Coffin & Grave was settled by Andrew LEGG; The Coffin, 12s, The Shroud, 6s 6d, Laying out, 2s and the Bell (ringer?) and grave, 3s 6d. This totalled one pound and four shillings Ref: Poor Law Records. Dorset CRO. This was a value of £32.64 in 1997. 1780-1786 : Family appears to have moved to Sturminster Marshall. Other references in Poor Law records for shoes (6) and for ell (?) of cloth on 21 July 1811.3

And that first that the (sic) discharge all my just debts to whomsoever due and that the remainder be equally divided between my five children, Ann the wife of George Simpson, Jane, spinster, Samuel, Stephen, and William Chamberlayne, reckoning one hundred pounds to Stephen as part of his share already received and also to Samuel the sum of one hundred pounds on a note of hand which is to be considered as part of his share of my estate and personal, also the sum of one hundred pounds being the part of a joint note of hand given by him and myself to the late James Sparks for the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds on condition that each and every one of them do pay to my wife Catherine Dummer for and during the term of her natural life one pound per cent per annum for each of their respective shares.
    With respect to my household goods and furniture my will is that it be equally divided between my five children either by sale or by five equal parts, reserving as much of the same as my wife think necessary for her own use for and during her natural life, and shared between the five children after her decease.
    I do hereby appoint Frederick Bowker Esq, Attorney of the City of Winchester, and William Chamberlayne Dummer my son, executors of this my Last Will and Testament, revoking a will made some years since witnessed by George and William Gay.
