'Willy' joined the 2/4th Dorsetshire Regiment in WWI. Went to Ireland and India, promoted to Sergeant whilst in Simla. After the war he worked at Sykes Clay pit, Creekmoor and became a Clay-cutter. In 1926 he became a builders labourer at Holten Heath and then trained as a Cordite-roller. In 1948 he worked at J.Hawkes shoe-shop in Poole High Street as a Warehouseman until his retirement in 1965. Willy and Edith were caretakers of the Methodist Chapel and grounds before 1914.1
     William married, at age 26, Edith Nora Meaby, aged 25 , daughter of William Charles Meaby and Edith Thirza Grant, on Saturday, 10 July 1926 in Poole, DOR, ENG.1,5 William died on 28 August 1983 in Poole, DOR, ENG, at age 83.1 He was cremated in September 1983 in Bournemouth, DOR, ENG.1

Born on Thursday, 31 October 1907 in Poole, DOR, ENG.2 He was the son of Alice Eliza Sellers1; his birth was registered by Alice Eliza Sellers mother on Thursday, 5 December 1907 in Poole, DOR, ENG.1 As of 1910, Sidney Leonard Jack was also known as Harvey.
     Sidney married, at age 24, Rita May Allen, aged 25 , daughter of Reginald Woodford Allen and Caroline Harriet Osborne, on Saturday, 2 July 1932 in Poole, DOR, ENG, Sidney lived at 16 Francis Road, Parkstone, DOR. Occupation: Engineer.3,4 Sidney Leonard Jack was residing between 1936 and 1982 in Hamworthy, DOR, ENG, Sid bought land from Kinson Pottery to build a Bungalow, completed in 1936 at a cost of £500. The address was 15 Dawkins Road.5 On 17 March 1937 his name was legally changed to Harvey His mother Alice signed a declaration, stating that Sidney Harvey was the person known as Sidney Leonard Jack, in order for him to join the Army.6 He was Maintenance Fitter. Sidney died on 6 December 1982 in Southampton, HAM, ENG, at age 75.7 He was cremated after 6 December 1982.8 Sidney was buried after 6 December 1982 in Hamworthy, DOR, ENG.7
