On 5 August 1914 in Pontefract, West Riding, YKS, ENG, Mobilized.2 He ended military service on 20 November 1915; Discharged. No longer physically fit for War Service vide Para292 (XVI) King's Regulations.2 He was buried on 2 June 1923 in Litlington, Royston, CAM, ENG.3
